We are also a registered centre for the Royal Institute of Public Health and Safety, The British Safety Council and are approved to deliver Health, Safety and Hygiene Awards. All our sponser companies will have a full Health, Safety and Welfare Audit which have been approved to carry out work placements. Each pupil will have a bespoke Risk Assessment which is suitable for the work experience environment in which s/he wants. Each company receives training on child protection if the Risk Assessment deems it necessary, then the supervisors’ must agree to have an Enhanced Disclosure, prior to the placement commencing. BSC Logo / RIPH Logo /OCR Connor has learned how to wire sockets, and light fittings. All
of our outdoor team are qualified to Advanced Health & Safety as a
minimum and we pride ourselves on our safety record. To supplement this,
all of our team who approve work placements also hold Level 3 RSA 387
Awards in Assessing Health & Safety in work placements and have over
20 years experience in approving work environments for training.
