The Alternative Curriculum ServiceThe Alternative Curriculum Service works with employers and young people to provide extended work experience placements. We also provide career advice, mentoring and guidance for pupils who are struggling with a full time timetable. and for those who require an extended placement to underpin the Diploma or ASDAN Awards which requires a practical placement in a workplace environment. Each member of our outdoor team has been handpicked and has had experience of linking education with employment. The majority of staff have worked at the very highest level delivering government funded training programmes throughout the North West of England. Some Occupational Areas Covered
This is not an exhaustive list, we are able to secure a placement in any occupational area that it is safe to work in. Connor has learned how to wire sockets, and light fittings.
